Course Description

This course enables students to consolidate their understanding of mathematical concepts related to quadratic relations, measurement, geometry, probability, and proportional reasoning through practical investigations, technology, and real-life applications. Students continue to develop problem-solving skills while communicating their mathematical thinking clearly and effectively.

Mathematics, Grade 9 is the foundation of secondary mathematics at Maple Ridge Academy. Unit 5 – Financial Mathematics: Exploring budgeting, consumer mathematics, discounts, taxes, interest, and financial planning.
