Study Permit & VISA
Why do I need a Study Permit and a VISA?
A study Permit is a student permit visa issued by the Canadian Immigration Department required for the applicant to enter Canada. This permit allows students to stay in Canada to study, and cannot be used as a certificate of entering and leaving Canada. Depending on the length of the study, the validity period of the study permit is different. The general study permit for high school and undergraduate students is valid for 4 years and for graduate students one and a half to two years. Application for renewal at the Immigration Canada office is needed if the visa expires.
The VISA page attached to the applicant’s passport is a necessary document for the applicant to enter and leave Canada, and it is also called an entry-exit visa. If the applicant’s VISA expires, he must apply to the Canadian Immigration Department for a visa extension before returning to the home country or travel to other countries. Otherwise, the student may encounter the problem of being unable to enter Canada after returning home. Otherwise, the student may encounter the embarrassment of being unable to enter Canada after returning home. If the applicant leaves Canada temporarily, he or she must also apply for a re-entry visa, otherwise, he or she will not be allowed to return to Canada. VISA application prerequisites a valid study permit.
