Course Description
This course extends students’ understanding of functions by investigating the characteristics of polynomial, rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Students refine algebraic skills, solve complex equations, and apply mathematical reasoning to model real-world situations in preparation for university studies.

Maple Ridge Academy Course Overview
Advanced Functions is designed for students pursuing university programs requiring strong mathematical preparation. The course emphasizes conceptual understanding, algebraic fluency, and analytical thinking while helping students recognize relationships between mathematical models and real-world applications.
Students investigate increasingly sophisticated functions and develop the mathematical reasoning required for Calculus and Vectors as well as university studies in engineering, business, computer science, economics, and the sciences.
