Course Description

Adapted from the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Course Descriptions and Prerequisites, Grades 9–12′. This course develops mathematical concepts through investigation, technology, modelling, communication, and problem solving while preparing students for the next stage of mathematics.

Maple Ridge Academy Course Overview

Functions emphasize conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, mathematical communication, and real-world applications. Students engage in inquiry-based learning, collaborative investigations, technology integration, and authentic problem-solving while preparing for postsecondary pathways.
